These additional terms are applicable when using our Service to extract international postal address data from the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

End User Compliance Clauses

  1. Permitted Use of Postcode Data

    1. You are permitted to access and use postcode data solely through the address lookup and cleansing services provided by Us.
    2. Usage is restricted to internal address validation, correction, and cleansing purposes only.
    3. No other use, processing, or replication of the postcode data is authorized.

  2. Prohibited Distribution

    1. You shall not:
      1. Download or extract the raw postcode data,
      2. Store or cache the data outside permitted systems,
      3. Redistribute or resell the data, or
      4. Use the data independently of the licensed address tools.
    2. Any breach of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

  3. Encryption and Security

    1. All postcode data delivered via Us will be in encrypted form.
    2. You shall not attempt to:
      1. Decrypt or circumvent security protections,
      2. Reverse-engineer data transmission or structure, or
      3. Interfere with delivery or security mechanisms.

  4. Transparency and Audit Cooperation

    1. You agree to cooperate with Us in support of compliance reporting requirements to the UPU.
    2. Upon reasonable request, you shall provide:
      1. Product names utilizing postcode data,
      2. Identity and addresses of end-users (if applicable),
      3. Any resellers or affiliates involved,
      4. Usage activity (e.g. country datasets, transaction types).
    3. All information shared under this clause will be treated as confidential.

  5. Term and Termination

    1. Access to postcode data is dependent on an active license held by the Supplier with the UPU.
    2. If this upstream license expires or is terminated, your access may be revoked without notice or liability.
    3. No further usage of postcode data shall be permitted post-termination.

  6. Confidentiality

    1. You shall not disclose the terms, scope, or fees associated with postcode data access to third parties.
    2. Disclosure is permitted only where:
      1. Required by law or regulation, or
      2. Approved in writing by Us.
